Indian Air Force chopper crashes in Siachen
Srinagar, April 11: A Cheetah helicopter of the Indian Air Force crashed in the main Siachen glacier and two pilots were reported missing.
The chopper took off from the base camp situated at an altitude of 16,400 feet in and crashed at around 7:00 am (IST) in the central Siachen glacier, according to IAF sources.
The Army and IAF have launched a search operation to locate the missing pilots.
The cause of the crash is not known yet. source: NDTV
