GoAir offers free air tickets to senior citizens above 60 years
On the eve of 60 glorious years of India’s independence, GoAir the smart low fare carrier promoted by the Wadia group, proudly honors the senior citizens of our country, by offering them a ticket to fly to any GoAir destination in India, free of cost.
GoAir Airport counters across the country will offer free tickets to our respected senior citizens (60 years and above) from August 8 onwards. The senior citizens need to present their age proof at the GoAir Airport counter and GoAir will fly them free to any of their 11 destinations during the period August 10th – 31st 2007. The tickets would need to be booked at least two days prior to the travel date. Only the taxes and surcharge must be borne by the passengers.
Speaking on this occasion Mr. Jeh Wadia, Managing Director GoAir remarked, “Sixty years of Indian independence is a very special moment for all of us. On this occasion we pay tribute to the respected senior citizens of our country who have helped build India that we are all so proud of today.â€
“Considering that 80% of the country’s senior citizens have never flown in their life, we at GoAir would love to give them this great opportunity to explore India. The entire GoAir team feels greatly honoured to offer them the experience of FLYING on the occasion of INDEPENDENCE.â€, Mr. Wadia added.
GoAir would request all Senior Citizens who would like to avail this offer to immediately visit the nearest GoAir airport counter, before the seats get over!

Can you please send me the details, on how I can avail the sr. citizen discount on flights for my parents, who are above 65 yrs of age. They are flying out from Bangalore to Delhi for doctor’s examination.
