Jet Airways has announced special air fares for Onam flights. Onam is the traditional festival of Kerala, the southernmost state in India. Airlines every year make a packet out of non-resident Keralites flying to Kerala for celebrating Onam. A significant number of Keralites (Malayalees) reside outside the state.

The special air fares on Onam flights are available for flights on the following sectors:
Bangalore-Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)
Bangalore-Kochi (Cochin)
Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)
Chennai-Kochi (Cochin)
Mumbai-Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum)
Mumbai-Kochi (Cochin)
Mumbai-Calicut (Kozhikode)

The Onam Festival Air Fares are valid for sale up to August 10, 2007. This offer is applicable for travel only between August 15 to September 10, 2007. Booking class - “O” class.

Change in reservation is permitted, if the fare is reissued to a higher fare. Charges in such a case will be Rs 750, plus the applicable fare difference.
Free Baggage Allowance of 25kgs. is allowed. 2 piece concept is permitted.

Excess Baggage will be charged at 1.1% of the normal Economy class fare.
Extension of validity for this ticket is not permitted.
Passengers MUST carry their photo IDs while check-in.
The offer is valid for a limited period only. Tickets can be booked on the Jet Airways web site or through travel agents selling Jet tickets.
