SpiceJet to introduce direct weekly flight between Pune and Ahmedabad
SpiceJet, the low cost airline will start direct flights between Pune and Ahmedabad from October 9. It will be a weekly flight, which will operate every Tuesday.
The flight will depart from Ahmedabad at 2.30 pm and reach Pune at 3.35 pm. While it will depart from Pune at 12.55 and arrive Ahmedabad at 2 pm.
The airlines will also start services from Pune to Hyderabad and Chennai from 5th October 2007.While the flights between Pune and Chennai are daily direct flights, the services from Pune to Hyderabad would be six days a week except Tuesday
Announcing the expansion plans, Kamal Hingorani, VP Marketing & Planning SpiceJet Ltd. said, Pune, being the vital destination, has always been a profitable when connected to other cities. There was tremendous response from passengers on the existing routes and therefore we have decided to connect Pune to Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.
The new sectors will start with the Red Hot Special Fares of Rs 999 and Rs 1999, available for booking with effect from September 18.
