Jet Airways adds Kolkata-Dhaka, Delhi-Dhaka daily & weekly non-stop flights

MUMBAI: Jet Airways on Monday said it is launching a Kolkata-Ahmedabad flight and additional services between Kolkata and Guwahati, both effective from December 17.
NEW DELHI: Deccan Aviation, the low cost carrier in which UB Group has picked up 46 per cent stake, on Wednesday said Kingfisher and Deccan will run as two separate brands even when the two airlines are merged.
NEW DELHI: Air France has entered into a collaboration with Oberoi Hotels for revamping its catering service. Top chefs from Oberoi will lay out the menus for the European airline’s passengers on flights connecting India. Hindi and Tamil versions of the catering menu would also be available in all the flights from India to make it convenient for Indian passengers.
MUMBAI: Kingfisher Airlines has posted a net loss of Rs 577 crore in the financial year ended March 2007, the balance sheet of UB Holdings, which owns the airline, shows. The loss was on a revenue of Rs 1,553 crore earned during the year. This, incidentally, may well be the biggest loss posted by a major domestic airline recently.
