Paramount Airlines flights to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune and Goa
NEW DELHI, Sept. 17: The Tamil Nadu-based premium business-class airline, Paramount Airways, today said it would expand its operations to western India with flights to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune and Goa.
While the airline will launch a flight between Chennai and Ahmedabad within this month, its services will also be available for Mumbai, Pune and Goa soon.
“With the launch of Chennai and Ahmedabad flights, passengers from Coimbatore, Madurai and Cochin will now be able to travel to and from Ahmedabad and Mumbai through Chennai,” the airline said in a Press statement.
A senior airline official said since Gujarati traders keep visiting Tamil Nadu for business reasons, the new flight is expected to become popular with this segment of passengers.
“Our foray into the western region opens up a new route for the airline taking advantage of the existing unmet demand in this sector,” managing director, Paramount Airways, Mr M Thiagarajan, said in the statement.
