Air India Kolkata-Delhi flight introductory air fare of Rs 5,000
KOLKATA: Public sector airline Air India today announced an introductory offer for the Kolkata-Delhi sector under which a one-way ticket between the two cities would cost Rs 5,000.
The basic fare has been kept at Rs 1,675 with surcharge of Rs 3,325 as surcharge and taxes, a company release here said.
The introductory offer would be valid till December 31, it added. While, the flight AI-101 would leave Kolkata at 8.00 PM and reach Delhi at 10.05 PM daily, the return flight would leave Delhi at 7.15 PM to and reach Kolkata at 9.20 PM.

The airline industry is going through a real bad phase. It needs the prices for other services also to go down to reduce its operational cost. Government needs to understand that and work more on the inflation.
