Kingfisher Airlines Mumbai – Hong Kong, Mumbai – Singapore Flights to start; In-flight Pictures
NEW DELHI: Expanding its network of destinations in South-East Asia, Kingfisher Airlines will commence daily non-stop flights from Mumbai to Hong Kong and Mumbai to Singapore from September 15 and 16 respectively. The flights on both these routes will be operated using the brand new Airbus A330-200s, widely billed as the best A330s ever built for any airline.

“Given the strong linkages between India and South East Asia, we believe that there is untapped potential and these new routes promise to serve the unmet needs of discerning corporate and leisure fliers,” Kingfisher Airlines Vice- President (Global Sales) Siva Ramachandran said in a statement.
Changi Airport Group’s executive vice president (air hub development), Yam Kum Weng, said, “We look forward to welcoming Kingfisher Airlines to the Changi family.”
“With Kingfisher’s extensive domestic network, the commencement of its services to Singapore will further enhance Changi’s connectivity to India which will benefit travellers with more convenience and choice,” he added.
Kingfisher Airlines, with a fleet of 71 aircraft, currently flies to five overseas destinations – London, Dubai, Bangkok, Colombo and Dhaka.
Kingfisher; Mumbai – Hong Kong and Singapore Flight Timings:
Kingfisher Airlines flight IT 071 will take off from Mumbai at 10:55 pm and arrive at Hong Kong at 8:05 am, local time.
The return flight IT 072 will take off from Hong Kongs’ Kai Tak Airport Chek Lap Kok Airport Terminal 2 at 2:05 pm, local time and arrive in Mumbai at 5:50 pm.
Similarly, Kingfisher Airlines flight IT 029 will take off from Mumbai at 11:05 pm and arrive at Singapore at 7:05 am, local time.
The return flight IT 030 will take off from Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 3 at 10:15 am and arrive in Mumbai at 1:05 pm local time.
About the Flights:
Configured in two classes, with 30 seats in Kingfisher First and 187 seats in Kingfisher Class, the spacious full-length wide-bodied twin aisle cabin of the A330-200 has gone to great lengths to make flying feel a more natural and pleasurable experience.

hong kongs Kai Tak airport has been closed since 1998. are u sure that the flight is taking off from hong kongs Kai Tak airport? please clarify.

The airport you mean is Chek Lap Kok which opened in 1998.
