Air Deccan Cargo’s global operations put on hold

Gopinath G R G R Gopinath, who kickstarted his Deccan Cargo air services during May earlier this year, has put the international operations of the cargo airline on hold even as the domestic operations kickstarted this week. Deccan Cargo & Express Logistics kickstarted its international network on the Delhi-Mumbai-Chennai-Hong Kong route and was also connecting to Dubai. BANGALORE: If you book two days in advance or one month in advance your air fares are the same. Even on trunk routes, the fares for immediate travel are at rock bottom. A Bangalore-Delhi return ticket on SpiceJet for travel between September 7 and 8, inclusive of taxes and airport charges, is Rs 6,318. Of the total, the basic fare is only Rs 1,400. Gopinath.G.R, Managing Director, Deccan Aviation BANGALORE: Capt G R Gopinath, one of the largest individual shareholders in Kingfisher Airlines, has sold a portion of his shares in the company.
