IndiGo, India’s fastest growing low-fare airline, has completed one year of operations on August 04, 2007. In its first year, IndiGo added one brand new aircraft each month to its fleet. Today, the airline boasts a fleet size of 11 brand new aircraft, operating 78 daily flights reaching to 15 destinations across the nation. The airline has flown 1.9 million passengers and has handled 15,000 departures till date.

NEW DELHI: Low-cost air carrier IndiGo on Wednesday said it will induct tenth Airbus A320 to its fleet on June 24.
IndiGo started new service from Agartala to Kolkata and onward to Hyderabad and Bangalore.
New Delhi: In a rare event, flight number 402 of Indigo Airlines, scheduled to leave for the Capital from Mumbai this morning didn’t have a pilot to fly it. The aircraft had 110 passengers on board.
