NEW DELHI: Low-cost carrier SpiceJet on Wednesday said that the airline is expected to make a total loss of Rs 80-100 crore in the current fiscal, up from Rs 70 crore in the last financial year, due to higher ATF price.
NEW DELHI: Paramount Airways, the Madurai-based full-business class airline, has joined the race for Gurgaon-based low-cost carrier SpiceJet. According to sources, the Madurai-based all-business class airline, the only domestic flier that is making cash profits, is in talks for a possible buyout. Jet Airways and Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG), too, are reportedly eyeing a controlling stake in SpiceJet.
MUMBAI: Low cost airline SpiceJet has hiked its fare following the recent hike in aviation fuel price. Confirming the hike, a SpiceJet spokesperson told the media on Wednesday: “The hike in our basic fare is Rs.300 for short routes and Rs.550 for long-haul sectors.”
NEW DELHI: Low cost airline SpiceJet Monday announced the launch of its cargo operations in the country. Initially, the service would cover eight major cities and would be expanded to all 18 destinations of the airline in the second quarter of the current fiscal.

NEW DELHI: Low-cost carrier SpiceJet, which is mulling to expand horizons in the international airspace, has said that it wishes to have Tatas on its board to benefit from the conglomerate’s expertise. “We would love to have Tatas on board as whoever they would appoint as their representative would be an expert in the area and bring in good corporate governance,” SpiceJet executive chairman and CEO Siddhanta Sharma said.
